Wish Coordinator at Make-A-Wish Foundation

Hi, I’m Jason Dingli. I’m a father to two young boys, two adult daughters, and a proud grandfather.

For over 12 years, I’ve been a Wish Coordinator with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and I’m a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.

My path into counselling was deeply personal. In 2011, I lost my beloved mother suddenly. Just a few years later, in 2015, I faced the unimaginable: losing my wife and soulmate to breast cancer.

These losses shook me to my core—and changed the way I understood grief forever.

Through my own experience, I came to realise how hard it can be to find someone who truly listens. Not someone who tries to fix, or offer clichés—but someone who holds space with compassion, without judgment.

Grief is not one-size-fits-all. It’s deeply individual. And often, what we need most is someone who’s walked that road too.

As a man, I also know the unspoken pressure to stay strong, carry on, and keep emotions bottled up. But the truth is, men grieve too—and we need and deserve a safe space to talk about it.

That’s why I became a counsellor.

I work with adults, children, and families who are navigating the complex emotions of grief and loss. Whether you’re mourning a loved one, facing life changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to support you.

In our sessions, you’ll find a space where your story is heard—where your experience is valid—and where healing begins with genuine understanding.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

"Counselling is about being there"

It has to be personal, where people don't feel like just another number.
I walk along the journey with you
